Elephanta Caves - A Collage Of Excellent Rock Cut Sculptures

Elephanta caves of Maharashtra are listed on UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The caves are famous for their exquisite and vibrant rock -cut sculptures. Will soon write a detailed post on my trip to the Gharapuri Island where these caves are located. Till than this collage. 

Mumbai Diary - Bandra Worli Sea Link - Rajeev Gandhi Setu

Bandra Worli Sea Link is also called Rajeev Gandhi Gandhi Setu. It is a cable stayed bridge which links Bandra west suburbs of Mumbai to Worli in South Mumbai. This link carries four lanes of traffic in each direction. It was opened for public on 30th June 2009.

The toll plaza has a toll collection system.

The link reduces the travelling time between Bandra to Worli  by half.

The sea link is managed by an efficient bridge management system.

Mumbai Diary - Sri Sri Radha Rasa Bihari Temple ISKCON

ISKCON Temple OF Mumbai is one of the most visited temples of India. It is located just very near to the Juhu Beach.

This marble  beauty is spread over four acres of land .

The temple was opened in 14th January 1978. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the temple but one can take pictures around the complex.

It is an extremely beautiful and well maintained temple. The prasad distributed outside the temple is simply divine.

Mumbai Diary - Mannat, Shahrukh Khan's Bungalow

Our taxi driver insisted that we see Shahrukh Khan's house  "Mannat" located at Bandstand in South Bandra. It is a heritage bungalow which King Khan bought in the yeat 2005.

Later Khan built a six floor house right behind the heritage bungalow .

The house faces the beautiful seashore.

Mumbai Dairy - Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre

 A quick click from our taxi as we passed through famous Lilavati Hospital. It is a private hospital located at Bandra in Mumbai.
